Women’s Education Alliance (WEA) friends had the pleasure of attending a wonderful tea party hosted by the 4th and 5th grade girls of St. James and John School. Tea and scones were abundant with the highlight of the morning the beautiful dresses and ensembles worn by the students. Each girl shared their future plans including the high schools and colleges they wanted to attend. Loyola University provided space for the tea party and gave a campus tour to the girls. Dr. LaUanah King-Cassell, Principal, stated that the current 3rd graders are already gearing up for next year’s tea party.
